Our steel detachable chain breaker is manufactured using high-strength cast iron. The chain breaker is painted with an anti-corrosive black paint for an even longer operation life. Using this tool makes it much easier to break (detach) your steel detachable chain if working out in the field replacing broken links.  This tool can be used on any size chain.  As Krazy Ken would say, “This tool has been around for 100 years.”
